WCAG & GDPR (Accessibility & Cookies Management)

WCAG — these are global accessibility guidelines from W3C that define how websites should be usable by everyone — including people with visual, hearing, motor and cognitive disabilities.

It focuses on colour contrast, keyboard navigation, alt text, screen readers, captions etc.

GDPR — this is a European data protection law that controls how personal data of users is collected, stored, tracked, shared and deleted.

It ensures transparency, consent, data minimisation, right to delete data and strict control over cookies and tracking.

Basically — WCAG is about accessibility

GDPR is about data privacy & user rights

Both combined ensure the web is fair, usable & legally safe.
